Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. It has been plagued by numerous disasters, civil unrest, and spiritual darkness for many years. The earthquake in January, 2010, has opened the door for a renewed spiritual awakening and establishment of life changing opportunities for the people of Haiti.
This trip is for those who can withstand very warm temperatures and high humidity. However, the team will stay in air-conditioned dorm-style sleeping quarters in the Nehemiah Vision Ministries compound, and meals will be served in the compound kitchen.
Minimum age for participation in Haiti trips is 13 years old on departure.
The team will fly into Port-Au-Prince and be transported to Chambrun about 18 miles from the Port-Au-Prince airport. The team will minister in various areas in and around Chambrun, including local churches in the area, distributing aid and working on possible construction projects.
