There is much to be done in Ukraine, and short-term mission teams have an important role.  Volunteers are needed to help deliver humanitarian aid to babies, orphans, the handicapped, elderly and poor.  Along with the aid comes an opportunity to present the gospel and meet many of the local Christians.
This focus of this trip is on delivering, distributing and fitting wheelchairs for handicapped individuals.  As we spend time ministering to their physical needs, we also have the opportunity to minister to the spiritual needs of the individuals and their family members.

We especially need Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Medical Doctors to assess the needs of the handicapped people we will meet.  The therapists will work with mechanically inclined people to adjust the wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and canes to fit the diagnosis of the handicapped individual.

There will be some openings for non-medical volunteers to assist with the administration and registration processes as well as ministering to the waiting family members.

Our trips are family-friendly.  Participants have ranged in age from 9 to 89; however, anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian.

This trip is suited for individuals, families or groups.

Khmelnytskyi is a new city for GAiN.  It is located about 200 miles southwest of Kiev. This is a beautiful area of Ukraine where the needs of the handicapped are just now being addressed.
We will stay in a safe and secure hotel in the Khmelnytskyi area.  Will you come and help?
