ONE CAREPACK=ONE CHILD
At Global Aid Network, we say that “One CarePack=One Child Hearing the Gospel”. Because demonstrating the love of Christ is at the heart of the mission of Global Aid Network, we look for opportunities to share the gospel whenever possible. In many countries, the aid that we’re able to give opens doors for our ministry partners to share the love of Christ. This means that when you give a CarePack, you open doors for a child to see and hear the gospel.
Recently we received correspondence from Zimbabwe, where Global Aid Network® (GAiN®) is partnering to demonstrate the love of God to children in some of the most impoverished villages of the country. Jack, our ministry partner, shared about the joy he experienced when meeting a simple need for schoolchildren in his country.
Jack writes, “I am so thankful to GAiN to come and help us meet many of the needs in Zimbabwe. We have visited schools where students did not have blackboards, books or paper to take notes on. The students come and teachers stand in front of them and teach orally. So when GAiN brings in CarePacks and passes those out, the students light up like you have given them a million dollars or something. The Lord always touches and breaks my heart for the children and I know that if we do not reach out to them, the cycle of hopelessness will continue.”
Can you hear his heart for these children? Can you imagine walking with him through the villages where children gather beneath a tree for their daily lessons? Pens and paper are scarce here. But children are eager to learn. Maybe what they learn today will change their future. They hope. And they dream. And they wait.
They wait for you and for me.
Global Aid Network has the tremendous opportunity to partner with mothers, fathers, college students, businessmen and women and retirees throughout the United States to help share the love of Jesus with these Zimbabwean children. These men and women are servants who have joined with us to meet needs worldwide. They serve as Advocates with Global Aid Network, advocating for the needs of children who long to learn and to grow and to make a difference for their families.
