The Call to Global Aid Network (GAiN)
Global Aid Network has positions for men and women who have a passion to help people around the world - to help meet their spiritual needs as well as their physical needs.
We at GAiN like to be able to respond to new opportunities as they arise. That means we need a growing team of flexible people. Matthew 9:37-38 holds true today: "...The harvest is plentiful, but he workers are few. Therefore, beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."
To begin evaluating God's call for your life, ask yourself the following questions :
- Have you committed your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ?
Your life takes on new meaning when you wholeheartedly follow Christ.
"And He [Jesus] was saying to them all, 'If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me'" (Luke 9:23).
- Have you considered your role in the Great Commission?
Obeying Jesus' command is the key to making your life count for eternity.
"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations" (Matthew 28:18b-19a).
- Are you passionate for the cause?
Your life must be aflame for the cause for Christ.
"For the Son of Man has come to seek and save the lost" (Luke 19:10).
"But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God" (Acts 20:24).
- Additional questions (for those considering missionary staff opportunities):
- If married, does your spouse sense a call to ministry also?
- Are you willing to go through the application process to join Campus Crusade for Christ staff?
- Are you and your spouse willing to develop a financial support base to cover your salary and ministry expenses?
- Are you willing to live a moderate lifestyle?
- Are you a teachable person?
- Are you willing to live in the Dallas, Texas, area?
